WHO IS TINA J. FOX?  Tina began her start in pageants at the age of 19 when she entered the Miss Houston Pageant while attending college.  From there, her aspirations and involvement has led to several titles, pageant judge, emcee & director.  Her biggest accomplishment was directing the 2009 Woodlands U>S. Pageant and receiving the Directors choice Award.

After serving 10 years in education, she established the United Southern States Pageant system. Tine believes that pageants are a great vessel to enriching women's lives.  "this is a chance to enhance your career and education, while also serving your community.

WHO IS JULIA JOSLIN?  Julia is proud to be a native Texan and co-founder of the United Southern States pageant System.  having been behind the scenes in so many pageants, Julia long recognized the need for Positive Role Models for women of all ages.  She said, "I am so proud of my southern heritage and being both a mother and grandmother in the pageant venue that offers females of all ages the first stepping stone in a successful future. So many doors open for our contestants and unlimited opportunity await all who complete."

HOW ARE YOUNG WOMEN SELECTED TO RECEIVE THESE SCHOLARSHIPS?  When a young lady goes through  the rigors of preparing for a pageant they learn self confidence, poise, charm, graciousness and the importance of giving back to others the blessings they have received. the scholarships are granted based on the same qualities they expect form recipients  .They want them to know the value of giving;  and those young ladies who go out into the community to volunteer as candy stripers at the hospital, or to adopt a senior citizen at a nursing home who seldom if ever gets a visitor and so many other good causes will become the future of our country and who have learned the blessings of giving that makes America the great country she is...
